After the success of the videoclips “El cumple de Pocoyo” (Pocoyo’s birthday), “Un chef genial”( a great chef) and “El reggaetón de los animales” (animal reggaeton)  that have accumulated along with their respective trailers more than 22 million views on YouTube, “El Mensaje de Nina” (A message from Nina) has arrived!  – the new song from Conecta Kids with Pocoyo and his friends. The millions of Pocoyo fans are in luck because this new song is dedicated to Nina, the series new character who joins the adventures of Pocoyo. Nina comes from a microscopic world from which she can enter and leave at will and has the capacity to increase and decrease her size. She is funny, she dresses in green and speaks her own language although it is not a problem for her to communicate with others. Nina is clever, uninhibited and is always followed by her pet, Roberto, the robot.

As in the previous videos, for the first time Pocoyo and his friends interact with real life characters in a videoclip.

Conecta Kids and Pocoyo have had several previous collaborations. Pocoyo starred in the videoclips of the songs “Conéctate al verano en Clan” (connect with summer on Clan) and “Halloween”, which have accumulated 32 million views on YouTube and at the time, were among the 10 most viewed music videos on Youtube in Spain in 2015.

Conecta Kids are currently on tour celebrating Pocoyo’s Birthday in which they sing all their hits with the participation of Pocoyo and his friends in a great show to enjoy with the entire family. For Christmas Pocoyo and Conecta Kids have planned the release of a joint album, that will include all the songs and videos that they have performed together throughout the year.

Pocoyo is on tour in Portugal with two live shows, the Panda Festival and Heróis da TV, which will take place during the months of June and July, and throughout 2017 respectively.

Pocoyo is on tour in Portugal with two live shows, the Panda Festival and Heróis da TV, which will take place during the months of June and July, and throughout 2017 respectively.

In this new edition, the Panda festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary with the presence of the most beloved characters of the Panda channel on stage, amongst which is Pocoyo.

The celebration will take place on the 24th and 25th of June in the Estádio do Mar in Matosinhos, the 30th of June and the 1th and 2th of July in the Parque dos Poetas in Oeiras, and finally on the 9th of July in the Estádio de Leira in Leira.

Heróis da TV is a live show where the filming of a talent contest is recreated, in which, during an hour and a half, the audience will be able to see four of their favorite characters perform, including Pocoyo.

The competitors, 3 Porquinhos, Winx, Vila Moleza and Pocoyo, are the Heróis da TV in this talent contest, whose driving forces are the music and audience interaction, actively participating as part of the recording of this “TV program”.

Heróis da TV is an innovative format in which children and their families will spend a fun time choosing the winner of the talent contest, in which Pocoyo will stand out with many of his musical hits.

Pocoyo está de gira por Portugal con dos shows en vivo, el Festival Panda y Heróis da TV que se presentarán durante los meses de junio y julio, y a lo largo del 2017, respectivamente.

En esta nueva edición, el Festival Panda celebrará su décimo aniversario con la presencia de los personajes más queridos del canal Panda, entre los cuales se encuentra Pocoyo.

La celebración se llevará a cabo durante los días 24, 25 de junio en el Estádio do Mar en Matosinhos, el 30 de junio y el 1, 2 de julio en el Parque dos Poetas en Oeiras, y finalmente el 9 de julio en el Estádio de Leira.

Zinkia producirá una nueva temporada de la serie Pocoyo

El pasado 13 de junio Zinkia aprobó en su Junta General Ordinaria y Extraordinaria de Accionistas, con el 97% de los votos, un aumento del capital social con cargo a aportaciones dinerarias y prima de emisión por valor de 4.053.674 de euros.

El pasado 13 de junio Zinkia aprobó en su Junta General Ordinaria y Extraordinaria de Accionistas, con el 97% de los votos, un aumento del capital social con cargo a aportaciones dinerarias y prima de emisión por valor de 4.053.674 de euros.

Una ampliación que se destinará en su mayor parte al lanzamiento de nuevos contenidos de Pocoyo, entre los que destaca una nueva temporada de la serie que comenzará a producirse antes de finales de 2017.

Estos recursos financieros servirán, asimismo, para acometer un plan estratégico de crecimiento para los próximos cinco años, además de permitirle afrontar con solvencia los compromisos de pago de la compañía.

El plan estratégico incluye diferentes acciones dirigidas a impulsar el desarrollo del área de Licensing & Merchandising, que cuenta con 15.000 referencias de producto. Además, con el objetivo de diversificar las posibilidades del catálogo, plantea el desarrollo, producción y explotación del resto de marcas propiedad de la compañía, con lo que se ampliará el target al que se dirige la productora.

La estrategia se centrará fundamentalmente en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Reino Unido, Francia, México, España, Brasil, Italia, Alemania, Australia, China y Japón. En total 12 países que suponen una audiencia potencial de 2.548 millones de personas y representan el 90% del sector de licencias mundial.

Así, Zinkia quiere potenciar la visibilidad de la marca Pocoyo en los principales mercados de entretenimiento y, de esta forma, incrementar los ingresos derivados de la explotación de productos de consumo y otras iniciativas comerciales.

Last June 13th, Zinkia approved at its Extraordinary General Shareholders’ meeting, with 97% of the votes in favor, an increase in the company’s capital stock through monetary contributions and share premiums the amount of 4.053,674 euros.

Last June 13th, Zinkia approved at its Extraordinary General Shareholders’ meeting, with 97% of the votes in favor, an increase in the company’s capital stock through monetary contributions and share premiums the amount of 4.053,674 euros.

These funds will be largely designated to the investment in new Pocoyo content, among them being a new season of the series that will begin production before the end of 2017.

These additional financial resources will also be used to implement a renewed strategic growth plan for the next five years, in addition to honoring future financial commitments.

The strategic plan includes various elements aimed at further encouraging the development of Licensing & Merchandising, which has developed 15.000 product references to date. Moreover, the company aims to diversify the possibilities of the content catalogue, proposes new development, production and exploitation of the other company brands, which will expand Zinkia’s core target.

The strategy will be focused primarily on the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Australia, China and Japan.  In total 12 countries that have a combined potential audience of 2.548 million people and represent 90% of the global licensing sector.

Zinkia’s mission is to increase the visibility of the Pocoyo brand in the main entertainment markets, and, in this way, increase revenues from consumer products and other commercial initiatives

Zinkia and Digital TV Group ink global deal for POCOYO brand relaunch

Zinkia and Digital TV Group sign an agreement involving content distribution, consumer products and development of interactive and Edutainment projects.

Zinkia has closed a deal with Digital TV Group, a multinational company specialized in content production, distribution, and marketing, with the objective of achieving a global repositioning of the POCOYO brand and to increase growth with the rest of the company’s titles.  

Digital TV Group, company with an outstanding presence in Latin America, Europe, United States and Canada, will take over the commercialization of the company’s brands both in traditional and digital audiovisual platforms, consumer products exploitation (Licensing & Merchandising), plus the development of interactive and Edutainment products.

This activity is part of a strategic plan designed by Zinkia in partnership with Digital TV Group that entails the implementation of commercial and marketing actions in the territories in which the Spanish company is currently present (over 150 countries), as well as new markets and platforms, over the coming years.

Digital TV Group trusts the initiative to three media executives with solid background in the entertainment business. Patricio Rabuffetti, founder of Non Stop and current vendor of leading media companies in the kids segment, will be part of the team along with Sebastian Vibes (with professional background in Telefe, RGB Entertainment, Cris Morena Group and Televisa Internacional), and Rodrigo Piza, who has been in charge of positioning and management of recognized properties from Nelvana, Locomotion, Hit Entertainment and Cookie Jar. Rabuffetti and Vibes will be based on Madrid, whereas Piza will contribute from Mexico City and Toronto.
