Pocoyo on the Knowledge Network in Canada

Pocoyo continues to expand its presence in new platforms and countries. The educational television network Knowledge Network in Canada has been one of the latest to incorporate the series in its programming. The corporation, whose coverage spans the area of British Columbia, has acquired the broadcasting rights for the third and fourth seasons of the series, different special content produced for Halloween, Christmas …, and a compilation of 53 musical video clips. The agreement contemplates its broadcast both by cable and through VOD, available throughout the territory in Canada.

In this territory, the station is the audience leader for the public from two to six years old in the morning slot and reaches an average of 1.5 million viewers, which represents more than a third of the local population.

Pocoyo’ line of collaborations with other brands continues to be successful. The latest one is the one carried out with the spanish group “Pica Pica”, a children’s music and theater company that has achieved great popularity among children after ten years of experience. Pocoyo, Pulpo, Pato or Elly celebrate Halloween with Belén Pelo de Oro, Emi Bombón and Nacho Bombín with the song “Trick or Treat”, which has the characters of the series as special guests.

A new song so that the little ones can enjoy one of the most special and magical nights of the year, in which fun, laughter and scares are guaranteed.

The group “Pica Pica” is one of the musical groups for family entertainment most loved and listened to by children, both in Spain and in Latin America. Ignacio Repetto, Emiliano Müller and Belén Guijarro, actors, dancers and clowns, give life to the characters of Pica-Pica.

Pocoyo and “Pica Pica” together have more than twenty million followers on YouTube in Spanish, two great successful brands and an unstoppable career on the platform.

 

New children’s fragrances by Pocoyo

Pocoyo has just launched two new cologne boxes, delicious scents created by the perfumers of Natuaromatic Laboratories and inspired by the “Pocoyo World”. Suitable for all ages, the new unisex Pocoyo colognes offer a soft and delicate formulation, with a low alcohol content and a tolerance test carried out on sensitive skin that cares for and protects the delicate skin of early childhood.

Pocoyo’s Cologne and Soap bubbles the pompero of Pocoyo

This new and soft fresh fragrance from Pocoyo, from the green floral olfactory family, will delight the little ones and the not so little ones. It is presented in a case with a 150ml format that includes  60ml of soap bubbles illustrated with the characters of the series, so that children can learn to blow and let their imagination run wild.

Pocoyo & Elly’s swing

 The little ones can also have a lot of fun swinging the colongies of their favorite characters with the new Pocoyo and Elly swing case. The box contains two eau de cologne, Pocoyo & Elly of 100 ml each. Pocoyo’s cologne is inspired by the fresh floral olfactory family and Elly’s perfume is a musky citrus fragrance. It also includes games on the sides of the case to search and find the differences or help Pocoyo and her friends find their way.

The new kits are available at more than 600 points of sale in Spain and on online sales platforms such as Amazon, Marvimundo or Primor Perfumeries and Alimerka Supermarkets.

 

 

“Diamond” for Pocoyo’s Official Channel in Spanish on YouTube

Pocoyo continues to break records on YouTube! Pocoyo’s official Channel in Spanish, packed with educational videos and children’s songs, has won the “Diamond Button” on YouTube, a recognition reserved for channels with more than 10 million subscribers. This shows the success and unstoppable trajectory of Pocoyo. Further proof that after 16 years of history, Pocoyo continues to be one of the children’s characters with the greatest international projection and the greatest audience success, and one of the most influential brands in the world in digital media.

With this award, the channel reached a new milestone with an average of 125 million monthly views and 7,416,379,955 accumulated views. It also adds around 140,000 new subscribers every month. In terms of view time, the channel exceeds 35 million hours watched per month.

Created in July 2007, Pocoyo’s Official Channel in Spanish is the first of Pocoyo’s official channels – all of which have already surpassed the one million followers barrier – and the first to win this award.

 

Pocoyo’s content consumption on YouTube soared especially during the months of confinement, reaching 540 million views in April, 2020, the highest as of that date; consumption that has continued to increase since then, as shown by the results achieved. Since joining YouTube, Pocoyo has accumulated a total of more than 32 million subscribers and has exceeded 27.7 billion views.

Pocoyo and UNICEF, for the rights of the most vulnerable children

We have started a new and exciting project together with UNICEF and Pocoyo, which will allow us to undertake actions focused on disseminating and promoting the programs UNICEF undertakes in support of children. Therefore, we join UNICEF’s fight to save and protect the most vulnerable children around the world. Through this alliance, Pocoyo, as an example of fun and learning for many parents, confirms his commitment to children.

From Zinkia we will develop special initiatives in which we will invite our subscribers and friends to collaborate with UNICEF in order to protect and guarantee the rights of children. To do this, we will carry out actions aimed at raising awareness about the importance of defending and fulfilling children’s rights and growing up in safe environments through the generation of digital educational content.

For Gustavo Suárez Pertierra, president of UNICEF Spain, “This agreement will allow UNICEF to continue transforming realities in all corners of the world and enhance the value of schools as places of learning, respect and tolerance; in a particularly complex context for children due to to the consequences and the uncertainty that COVID-19 generates in children and families around the world; with millions of them still unable to return to the classroom. ”  He also affirms that he is very satisfied that a character like Pocoyo, through Zinkia, joins his mission to save, protect and promote the most vulnerable children.

Pocoyo and UNICEF together for ‘Back to school’

The collaboration begins with a first action to celebrate the return to school through a didactic song that, under the title “The Coolest Class”, represents the spirit of Pocoyo and UNICEF and narrates the first day of classes of Yanko the Yeti, one of the latest characters to join the series.

With this first action, UNICEF and Zinkia intend to emphasize the value of classrooms as places to learn, share and have fun. Also as safe and inclusive environments, free from violence and abuse, in which children can grow and develop their full potential, an aspect that is especially relevant for children at the current time of intensification of conflicts and emergency situations.

Pocoyó y sus amigos se unen al espíritu olímpico para educar en el deporte a los más pequeños e inculcar importantes valores como el esfuerzo, la perseverancia, el respeto, la constancia, el compromiso o la amistad. Para ello, Zinkia ha creado un contenido especial en YouTube con motivo de la reciente inauguración de los Juegos Olímpicos, dirigido a los más pequeños de la casa, con el propósito de hacerles entender por qué las olimpiadas son uno de eventos más grandes del deporte a nivel mundial.

En cualquier disciplina deportiva se trabaja la estimulación, el espíritu de superación, la concentración y se aprende a ganar y a perder, siempre desde el respeto, como base de cualquier deporte.  Por ello, Pocoyó y sus amigos, Pato, Elly, Pulpo o Pajaroto participan en unas divertidas “Pocoyólimpiadas” con entretenidos y animados juegos que pondrán en valor el compañerismo y la fraternidad entre deportistas.

Pocoyó, Pato y Elly se convertirán en atletas protagonistas de los Juegos “Pocoyólímpicos”, que culminará con una victoria de Pato, que se alzará con una de las primeras medallas de los juegos. Pocoyó y Nina se batirán en duelo en un reñido partido de tenis, y Pulpo será el merecido vencedor de una “carrera de risas”. Son solo algunos ejemplos de los más de 100 minutos de solidaridad, compañerismo, diversión, aprendizaje y esfuerzo que Pocoyó transmitirá, junto a sus amigos, en las “Pocoyólimpiadas 2021”.

¡Hola a todos! Me llamo Germán y soy de Eibar, pero ya llevo unos cuantos años por Madrid. He tenido la suerte de que me acojan aquí, en Zinkia, como becario en el departamento de interactivos, así que me paso toda la mañana con videojuegos. ¡No me puedo quejar! Espero que me dejen estar por aquí mucho tiempo y aprovecharlo para aprender todo lo que pueda y si puedo también poner mi granito de arena, mejor.

¡Hola! Me llamo Rodri y llego al departamento de edición y postproducción de la mano de muy buenos compañeros. Estoy terminando de estudiar Dirección de Cine y Tv, mientras hago las prácticas en Zinkia.

¡Hola a todos! Soy Johnathan Dos Santos y soy el nuevo layouter para Pocoyó. Me interesé por el mundo de la animación debido a mi entusiasmo por dibujar los personajes que veía en la tele, cine, comics, books, videojuegos y he llegado hasta aquí.

Hello everyone! Soy Sasha y tengo mucha suerte de estar haciendo prácticas aquí en Zinkia. Vengo de la Universidad de Bristol en Reino Unido, me encanta cantar, bailar y actuar en mi tiempo libre.

Cuando no me encuentras encima de un escenario, es posible que me encuentres en un campo de lacrosse o explorando esta increíble ciudad, donde espero vivir en el futuro.

Listas de reproducción compartida en YouTube Kids

El proyecto de listas de reproducción cruzada que ha iniciado recientemente Zinkia ya está cosechando muy buenos resultados. Se trata de una nueva iniciativa cuyo objetivo es establecer acuerdos con otras marcas líderes en el sector infantil con presencia en YouTube mediante una estrategia de cross-promotion. Con ello, además de acceder a nuevos públicos, comparte su audiencia con otras marcas del sector afianzando su liderazgo.  De este modo, Zinkia persigue crear una red de contactos a través de la que activar colaboraciones de marketing que le permitan encontrar en territorios afines y no afines nuevos suscriptores.

Uno de los últimos ejemplos de este tipo de colaboraciones ha sido la lista de reproducción compartida por #Pocoyo y Toy Cantando, incluida el mes pasado por   YouTube Kids como contenido destacado dentro de la sección de Programas, que obtuvo una gran acogida.

Estrenamos nuevo canal musical de Pocoyó en brasileño

Pocoyó sigue conquistando el mundo con sus aventuras. Recientemente, ha estrenado con gran en éxito Youtube un nuevo canal musical en brasileño, en el que se incluyen divertidos videoclips para que los más pequeños disfruten cantando y bailando con nuestro personaje y sus inseparables amigos Elly, Pato, Loula…

La acogida del canal por parte del público ha sido muy buena y es que Brasil, con más de 4,3 millones de suscriptores, es el país con mayor audiencia de toda la red oficial de Pocoyó en Youtube. Además, la apuesta de la marca por el formato musical está obteniendo excelentes resultados. El pasado año se estrenaban el canal musical en castellano, que ha alcanzado 1,1 millones de suscriptores, y el canal en inglés, que supera los 680.000 suscriptores. Junto a ello, todo el contenido musical de Pocoyó se puede encontrar en Spotify, Apple Music y Amazon Unlimited Music.

Nuevo canal de manualidades en Youtube

Pero esta no es la única novedad de Pocoyó en Youtube. Acaba de estrenar también un canal de originales manualidades tanto en castellano como en inglés: sencillas actividades para desarrollar la creatividad de los niños, trabajar la motricidad fina y aprender a técnicas como el reciclaje o el trabajo con textural.

This new video is included in “El cumple de Pocoyo”, CKDS’s last project. A CD+DVD with 7 videos in which Pocoyo and his friends interact with real life characters for the first time. In addition, CKDS are in the final stages of preparing their music show tour together with Pocoyo and his friends for the enjoyment of the whole family.

Pocoyo’s millions of fans have welcomed with great enthusiasm the collaboration, which includes the following songs: “Pocoyo’s Birthday”, “A Wonderful Chef”, “The Animals’ Reggaeton”, “Nina’s Message”, “World Tour”, “Let’s Go to Halloween” and the newly released “Loula, I won’t abandon you”.
